You can use advanced document comparison functions that are not available in MS Word.

High-speed comparison function that instantly compares only the text changes
You can also compare Word vs PDF and PDF vs PDF.
PDF files can be compared even if they have not been OCR-ised.
The comparison candidates are automatically suggested according to the file name.
Summary output of comparison results is also possible.
You can also compare tables.
You can also compare changes to comment fields that cannot be compared in MS Word.
PDF output of comparison results, which are often used in transactions with foreign countries, is also possible.
You can also compare a part of the word, not the whole word.
Completely integrated within BoostDraft, no need to launch other applications.
The password for password-protected files is automatically inserted and can be compared.
There is an automatic generation function for comparison chart, which are often encountered in corporate projects, etc.
How to start
There are two options to open BoostDraft Compare.
1.「BoostDraft」tab >「Compare」
When you call this function using the Compare button on the BoostDraft tab, the Word document that is open at that time will automatically be set to the ‘Revised’ side of the document compare function.
2. Launch as a standalone App
In addition, you can also launch the Compare function as a standalone tool by entering ‘Compare’ in the Windows search box and searching for it.
Fast compare
This is the function introduced in the 'Operation Instructions Video' above. High-speed comparison function.
Click on the ‘∨’ in the box at the bottom of the Original and then click on ‘Browse’.
The Explorer will open. Use the Explorer to find and select the original document file.
Next, if you click on the ‘∨’ in the box at the bottom of the Revised, the auto-suggest function will list documents with similar file names to the original document as candidates for compare.
Select the document file to be compared from the automatically suggested list, or select the document file to be compared from the Explorer that opens after click on ‘Browse’.
Finally, by clicking on ‘Open fast compare’, the comparison results for these two document files will be displayed.

The result should be shown like below.
💡"Include comments in fast compare" option
It can be used for Word format documents.
If checked, the results including the compare of comments will be output in the fast compare.
If unchecked, comments will not be compared in the fast compare.

The results will be output including the compare results of comments.
(When you did not include comments in fast compare.)
Comments are omitted.
Each function of the fast compare result window
1.Summary
Blue text indicates the number of words added, red text indicates the number of words deleted.
2.changed portions
Press the "∧" or "∨" button to jump to the changed portions.
3.Hide unchanged sentences
By switching between "on" and "off", you can display the area around the changed portions or the entire sentences.
(If you omit sentences that have not changed)
The changed portions and nearby sentences are displayed.
(If you don't omit sentences that have not changed)
The entire sentences are displayed.
4.Save the fast compare results to PDF
By pressing "Save (Ctrl+S)", you can decide the save point and file name in Explorer.
Once you have decided them, click "Save(S)" in Explorer and if you see the message "Successfully saved changes to file." then it's OK.

Detailed Compare
Comparison function with various settings.
In the Detailed Compare, you can select the various settings presented below to output the comparison results.

After setting the required options, the comparison results can be output by pressing the ‘Compare’ button.

1.Show Word Compare Viewer
Display of ‘add’ and ‘delete’ results on Word.

Add: show in red or blue and is underlined

2.Save results as files
Output comparison results in Word or/and PDF format.
(Description of each option)
Browse:An Explorer will open, where you can specify the folder in which to save the comparison results.
□Word:By ticking the box □, the comparison results can be output in Word format.
□PDF:By ticking the box □, the comparison results can be output in PDF format.

3.Attach Summary Table
A summary table of the comparison results can be added at the bottom or top of the document.
The option ‘Save results as files’ need to be also selected.
※The only difference is whether the table is created at the bottom of the document or at the top, and there is no difference in the table displayed regardless of which is selected.

4.Exclude paragraphs with no changes
Outputs the paragraphs including the changed portions.
The option ‘Save results as files’ need to be also selected.

5. PDFs comparison style

These options are explained below.

As shown in the image on the right, decide where to save the PDF of the comparison results and press the "Compare" button.

As shown in the image on the right, please see the "Settings" above as these are the same options you would use to compare Word or PDF documents.

5.Close after running Compare
The Compare window is automatically closed after the comparison process has been executed.
Compare Excel file
You can also select Excel files for the "Original document" and "Revised document".
1.Select "Compared Sheets"
Entire workbook: Compares sheets in the Excel file in the order they are listed from left to right.
Selected sheets: Compares sheets using the combinations you set in the separate window (Sheet selection window) that opens when you press the "Select" button.

Select each sheet in the original document and the revised document and press the "Add link" button to add them to the 'sheets that will compare' field.
When you press the "OK" button, the compare process will be started according to the 'sheets that will compare' field.
By selecting data in the 'sheets that will compare' field and pressing the "Delete link" button, you can delete the selected data from the 'sheets that will compare' field.
2. Case "Fast Compare"
For information about each function of the Fast Compare result screen that is displayed after pressing the 'Open fast compare' button, please refer to "Each function of the fast compare result window" above.
